Dawson started off his show career by finishing his Canadian Championship with a Best Puppy In Show. He then went to the American Nationals where he placed 2nd in his 6-9 month Regular class and then went on to win BEST IN FUTURITY. What a thrill as a breeder/owner !! Dawson came back to Canada to be a puppy special where he mustered up a bunch of Breed wins Multiple Best Puppy In Group Wins, Group Placements and a Best Puppy In Specialty Show. Then in pursuit of his American Championship Dawson won Best in Sweeps at the GSPCM Specialty and he also won his first U.S major. Dawson then finished his American Championship in fine style where he picked up THREE back to back majors in Canfield Ohio to finish his American Championship at 10 months of age with limited showing !! After finishing all his show titles Dawson joined Shane Baxter in the summer of 2010 for some field work. In just a 5 month span Dawson went from seeing his first bird to finishing his Master Hunter title in 5 straight legs. He is very biddable, points with fine style and intensity, natural backer and retrieves right to hand. Dawson ran for his SH first and went 5 for 5 and then went straight to Master finishing 5 for 5! This boy has it all ~ Beauty ~ Brains & Working Ability! |
